Duncan moved to Guelph for his undergraduate degree in Real Estate and Housing and fell in love with the city and its people. Just months after his co-op with Coldwell Banker Neumann as a property manager focusing on several student rental properties. Duncan purchased his first investment property at the age of 21! Since then Duncan has worked with many properties and many tenants to find the best fit for everyone.

Now after graduating from the University of Guelph and having years of experience as both a renter and investment owner in Guelph, Duncan brings a modern understanding of market trends and has experience working with young buyers or renters. Duncan loves to meet new people and wants to share his knowledge on how to make the most out of the real estate market. WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE A CAREER IN REAL ESTATE?

I have always loved to interact with and meet new people I am very much an extrovert so what drew me to real estate was that it is very active and I get to meet new people and solve new issues all the time!

WHAT PART OF YOUR WORK DO YOU FIND MOST REWARDING?

I find speaking with people to be the most rewarding and finding the perfect fit for each person Its always very satisfying when you search and search from house to house and then the moment you walk into the right home and think yes this is it is very satisfying.

WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE TO SETTLE IN GUELPH, WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE PARTS OF THE CITY?

I moved to Guelph for university from Waterloo I really like the people and the fact that it holds a small-town charm but in my mind offers everything you need to settle down I love that so many communities have things like little libraries and small events to bring people closer!

WHAT CAN YOU BE FOUND DOING WHEN YOU'RE NOT AT THE OFFICE?

I have to say I am a NERD absolutely I love playing TTRPG ( all those fellow nerds out there will get it) and other board games as well as watching movies. I also may be playing beach volleyball around the city.

WHAT ARE SOME FEATURES YOU'D WANT IN YOUR DREAM HOME?

I love the idea of a themed area or an older house I like when you go into a home and can see there is a story to be told. I also love the look of a moss or clover yard; the city of Guelph is one of the few places I see really great yards with a substitute to grass.
